Hi, I’m Katrina!

I’m a small-town girl at heart, born and raised in Amboy, New York, where I grew up on a dairy farm. My upbringing was unique—a life filled with hard work, the beauty of the countryside, and the unwavering support of two incredible parents. They were always by my side, encouraging me to chase my dreams, whether my decisions were good or not-so-good.


My love for photography started young and has grown into a passion that shapes so much of who I am today. After high school, I joined the Army, which took me to places I’d only dreamed of, and along the way, I met the love of my life—the father of my four beautiful children. Over the past 20 years, we’ve moved from one place to another, finally settling in our forever home in Graniteville, Aiken County, South Carolina. Ironically, this small-town vibe reminds me so much of my childhood in Upstate New York, where big dreams take root.


Through my journey, I’ve been fortunate to explore the world—from Europe to the Midwest—and I’ve cherished every moment. Yet, no matter where I go, home will always be where my family is. I’m a coffee lover who constantly forgets to hydrate, a night owl who rarely gets enough sleep, and a multitasking mom balancing motherhood, work, cleaning, and hunting for photo props at Hobby Lobby. When I do get a rare moment to myself, you’ll find me on the couch with my puppy dogs; Marshmellow, Stormy & Harley watching reruns of Grey’s Anatomy and snacking on chips.

As you can see, I'm an extremely busy mom but dedicated to my work as a photographer as well. With four kids, each at different stages of their lives I find myself continuously on the go. My oldest, Nick is 17 and loves to fish but also works a full time job. My 13 year old Matt is on a travel soccer team and works tirelessly for practices, games & tournaments. My daughter Alanna is a competitive gymnastic on Xcel Bronze Team for our local gymnastics training center and my youngest Haley, who is 3 found her joy in T-Ball however, she is also starting to join the pageant world! We stay busy however, my ADD brain absolutely LOVES it. My husband and I spend the entirety of our lives providing for and encouraging these kids to be the best they can be and couldn't be prouder of them.


I firmly believe every family deserves beautiful, professional portraits that are affordable. I know the hard work, talent, and dedication it takes to be a photographer, but I also know my purpose isn’t about getting rich—it’s about helping families preserve their most precious memories. Whether it’s through my limited mini sessions or capturing life’s milestones like weddings or new arrivals, I’m here to make sure your story is told beautifully.


One thing you’ll never have to do when working with me is justify who you are or what you believe in. I’m an all-inclusive photographer, and I firmly believe that everyone deserves to be treated equally, fairly, and with respect—regardless of their background, beliefs, or lifestyle. You will always be welcomed and celebrated exactly as you are. I also truly believe we can all coexist if we just lead with kindness and understanding.
