Welcome to KFP Pet Family
Over the past year, I’ve dedicated a lot of my time to photographing family pets. Whether they come to the studio, join their humans for sessions, or I spot them while I’m out and about, I can’t resist capturing their adorable faces—even if it’s just a quick snap on my phone. I truly love them all!
I have two dogs of my own: Marshmellow, my sweet pug, and Stormy, my playful Lab mix. They’re not just pets; they’re family, just like my own kids.
Growing up, I always had a dog by my side. My first puppy, Chesney, a black Lab mix, was as friendly and well-mannered as they come. Later in life, we had Ewok, our beloved Papillon, who was our heart dog. We loved him dearly and miss him every day.
But my journey with dogs hasn’t always been easy. When I was about six years old, I was attacked by a Pit/Rott mix that had been tied up, with its owner assuring us it was "friendly." Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case—I was taken to the ground and nearly lost my eye. That experience left a lasting fear that took nearly 20 years to overcome. It wasn’t until my husband deployed and we dog-sat a Pitty for his first sergeant that I finally healed from that trauma. Even now, I remain cautious and teach my children to respect all dogs—never approach without permission, be mindful of boundaries, and always stay safe.
Now, with my passion and ability to capture stunning images, I want to spread love through pet photography. I want to photograph ALL the animals—dogs, cats, chickens, ducks—you name it! If I could, I’d have a house full of pets!
If you'd like to book a pet portrait session, they’re just $50 per animal. Take a look around, and let’s create beautiful memories of your furry (or feathery!) friends.
Side bar - If you need pet sitting and you're in the CSRA check out Pup Patrol on Facebook! Gema is AMAZING with dogs and the ONLY one I trust to ensure my babies are taken care of when we are out and about!
